Young women join in seminar vs teenage pregnancy in Kidapawan City


Over 30 young women have participated in an orientation on teenage pregnancy in Kidapawan City, the local government said.

The one-day Orientation on Teenage Pregnancy: Signs, Effects, Diagnosis, and Prevention, which was attended by 31 individuals was part of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women.

The City Social Welfare and Development Office spearheaded the event held Wednesday, December 1, at Kidapawan City Convention Center.

National Immunization Program Coordinator Evelyn F. Cari, who was the resource person, shared information about violence against women and teenage pregnancies.
