It seems like UP Manila students and members of the PGH community weren’t happy about seeing SAP Bong Go’s face all over the facility.
Special Aide to the President Christopher “Bong” Go’s visit to the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) seeminglyhad a harsh backlash, as he was criticized for the numerous paraphernalia spotted in the area. The Davaoeño Politiko, who’s rumored to be running for a seat in the senate in 2019, amde an appearance at the PGH on Wednesday to formally inaugurate the Malasakit Center.
“Invited to this event is SAP Bong Go, a man who holds no position in the DOH, Philhealth, PCSO, or DSWD”, a certain Jorrel Valdez wrote on his Facebook account.
Meanwhile, the UP medicine Student Council published a statement on the premature campaign that took place in the campus.
“We condemn this act of premature campaigning and use of public resources to fund political gains. The delivery of basic services should not be made a stage for personal promotion and publicity”, the statement wrote.
