Techie tita: Bai Sandra Sema goes on Facebook live at House hearing

Millennial blood runs deep in this politiko, who took a live video of herself while presiding a committee hearing.

Enter Deputy Speaker Bai Sandra Sema, the representative of the first district of Maguindanao, recording the interpellation of House Committee on Rules live through her Facebook account.

Her two live videos were mostly inaudible but Sema got her constituents’ backs after she posted that 45 bills were passed for third and final reading.

Facebook Live is used by by the media to post real-time updates of current events, while millennials do it mostly for attention.

For Sema, it was to inform the people of Maguindanao that her day at House was a “productive” one.
