The Tacurong City government is eyeing to open the Regional Evacuation Center by June.
The local government said the evacuation center located in Barangay Calean is now 85 percent complete.
The P36-million project includes indoor basketball and badminton courts, medical clinic, stage, stock room cooking and kitchen areas, mess hall, breastfeeding room, play area, conjugal room, 28 toilet rooms, and 26 shower rooms.
The city government said it collaborated with the Office of the Civil Defense, Department of Public Works and Highways, Department of the Interior and Local Government, and the Department of Health for the building of the evacuation center.
The construction of the structure started in September last year.
