SouthCot targets P1.014B road infra


The Provincial Government of South Cotabato proposed 10 road projects worth P1.014 billion to the national government for the rehabilitation of the main thoroughfares of the province.

Engr. Vicente Ayongao, Officer-in-charge of the Provincial Engineer’s Office said that their proposed road rehabilitation is the priority infrastructure of the province.

“We have submitted the proposed projects to the concerned agencies to consider it in their next year’s budget,” Ayongao said.

The road projects aim to alleviate the problem of the residents of South Cotabato in transporting their goods.

These will also attract local and foreign tourists since it will open easy access to different parts of the province.
