South Cotabato to build food terminal in Tupi

The provincial government of South Cotabato is planning to construct a food terminal in Tupi town.

Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo has sought the support of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan for the new project.

“Meron akon request sa Sangguniang Panlalawigan para sa Food Terminal kung saan this is not just the food terminal at the same magiging processing ng agricultural products.

According to the local government, the food terminal is envisioned to become the primary trade/market for food and agriculture in South Cotabato.

The project could primarily help the farmers in the province as well as in stabilizing the prices of agricultural products.

The construction of the food terminal would be done under the public-private partnership scheme with the support from the national line agencies.
