Quiboloy’s church manager in Hawaii sentenced for lying – report

A Hawaii court has found guilty the manager of evangelist Apollo Quiboloy’s Kingdom of Jesus Christ for lying about the suitcase containing hidden cash, according to Hawaii News Now.

The Honolulu-based news agency said Felina Salinas was sentenced to spend 30 days in prison and to pay a fine of $500 for the crime.

Salinas was initially charged with trying to smuggle over $300,000 when she attempted to board a private jet that would send back Quiboloy to the Philippines in 2018.

The case against Felinas was reduced from cash smuggling to making a false statement after she entered a deal with prosecutors.

Hawaii News Now, quoting lawyer Michael Green, said Felinas had no idea what was in the luggage that was found in the private jet.

Felinas would not be deported since she is a US citizen.
