The Presidential Task Force on Media Security (PTFoMS) has condemned the killing of a radio station manager in Kidapawan City.

Eduardo S. Dizon, station manager of Brigada News FM-Kidapawan, was shot dead by motorcycle-riding gunmen while driving home Wednesday night, July 10, in Sinsuat Street, Kidapawan, police said.

He sustained five gunshot wounds on his body, which resulted to his death.

PTFoMs said any media killing is presumed as work-related, until further investigation proves otherwise.

“The TF is on top of the situation and is closely coordinating with the authorities regarding this incident and follow-up investigations are being monitored by the Task Force,” it said.
