Cotabato City Mayor Frances Cynthia Guiani-Sayadi urged Tuesday, August 4, the Cotabatenios to register in the contact tracing program of the local government.
The local chief executive said the program is part of the effort against coronavirus disease pandemic.
By registering via www.cotabatocity.ph/registration., one gets a quarantine code or QR Code, which can be used whenever entering an establishment, she said.
She said the city government has its own database and any resident who will input false information or photo during their registration can easily be detected and will not be approved.
The city government advised the establishments and other agencies to have a smart phone with internet connection, which can be used for the program.
She said the registration will start on August 10 while the scanning will begin on August 17.
