The Presidential son pokes fun at some expensive “fake news” car stickers.
Paolo Zimmerman Duterte, eldest son of President Rodrigo Duterte, recently threw some shade to mainstream media saying that fake news should not come at a hefty price. On his Instagram page, the former Davao city Vice Mayor posted some car stickers for sale that he’s been checking out Friday morning. The stickers, which read “I don’t believe the liberal media!”, and “Mainstream media is fake news”, were priced at $4.98 and $2.75 respectively.
“Grabe ang mahal naman… mura lang ang fake news diba”, he captioned his post.
Paolo Duterte has previously called out media news outlets, particularly Rappler, for allegedly publishing ‘fake news.’
