P6-M isolation facility turned over to Malaybalay City

Malaybalay City Mayor Florencio T. Flores Jr. has assured that the local government has remained ready to face the challenges brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic.

This as the Office of the Civil Defense (OCD)-funded prefabricated container isolation facility was turned over to the city government.

The P6-million infrastructure project aimed to enhance the capacity to contain the virus and provide better treatment for patients as well as augment the existing facilities within the city.

“It is a fact that the battle has not yet been fully won, but we are ready to face the challenges which are about to come. We cannot achieve this without everyone’s cooperation, do your part so that we can fully achieve the same goal and keep everyone safe,” Flores said.

The isolation facility can accommodate 16 patients with individual rooms, comfort rooms, and air-conditioning system. The units were installed at Ligtas Covid Center in Patpat.
