Real estate giant Ayala Land and The Alcanta Group will join forces to build a P20-billion development in Mindanao which aims to generate 13,000 jobs during its construction period.
The Aviana Development Corporation is set to build the Alcueva Cove, a 25-hectare waterside development in Davao City, which is “poised to become one of the most vibrant city centers not only in the Philippines, but also in Southeast Asia.”
The project is set to be completed within 8 to 10 years.
President Rodrigo Duterte graced the launching of the Azuela Cove on Aug. 25. He was optimistic that the new project will provide more jobs for Davaoeños and residents in neighboring areas and “will further define the city as a thriving hub in Mindanao.”
According to Ayala Land, the Azuela Cove will be a new master-planned estate that will offer residents and visitors of Davao “a unique waterside experience” in a naturally beautiful setting.
