New Zealand has expressed readiness to provide leadership training for the officials of the newly-established Bangsamoro government.
New Zealand Ambassador David Strachan discussed possible partnership between the Bangsamoro government and the New Zealand government on Monday, June 10, during his meeting with Executive Secretary Esmael Pasigan of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, the regional government said.
It said that Stratchan also offered short-term scholarship to BARMM officials who will undergo leadership training in New Zealand for four weeks.
“We’ve always been your partner in your journey towards peace in the region,” BARMM government said quoting the foreign envoy.
Pasigan thanked the ambassador for the continued support of New Zealand to the Bangsamoro government.
