NBI-Samal informs Mayor Uy of week-long closure of satellite office starting June 14

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Samal Satellite Office will be closed for one week starting Monday, June 14, for “health security purposes,” an official said.

NBI-Samal Officer-in-charge Ligaya S. Banawan sent a letter to Mayor Al David T. Uy informing him of the decision to suspend operation and will resume only on June 21.

She said this is in line with the recent placing of Davao del Norte under general community quarantine (GCQ) until June 30.

“We will also take necessary measures to further disinfect our office and its surrounding as part of our valuable contribution to flatten the curve against coronavirus 2019 pandemic,” Banawan said.
