Bangsamoro Interim Chief Minister Ahod “Al Haj Murad” Ebrahim reminded the various ministries in the region of the priorities for this year.
In his message during the 31st Cabinet meeting Monday, January 13, at the Bangsamoro Governance Center in Cotabato City, Ebrahim underscored the need to implement the policies, reforms, and programs parallel with “moral governance” advocacy.
“In order to deliver these priorities, we need people who are willing to serve the Bangsamoro. This can be done through the implementation of an independent, credible and merit-based hiring and selection process, as mandated by the organic law,” he said.
He also cited the Bangsamoro Job Portal, which serves as one of the mechanisms to achieve the vision.
“The portal was overwhelmingly received by our people, seeking opportunities to be part of the new bureaucracy… we should, by all means, ensure that this opportunity will not be wasted,” he said.
“We still have a long way to go…there are still challenges ahead, but I am confident that with sincere intention, we will be able to overcome these convincingly, In Shaa Allah,” Ebrahim added. #
