Mayor Kerkhar S. Tan of Jolo, Sulu has led the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a school building.

The one-storey two-classroom building will be erected at Kasanyangan Elementary School Jolo III.

“This endeavor aims to uplift the standard of education of the school children in Kasanyangan Elementary School through building a well-conducive environment for learning,” the local government said.

Also present in the event were Punong Barangay Kathleen Alfad Tan, Municipal Engineer Vanessa Jarma Hassan-Malbun, and Municipal Administrator Benjaib Alfad.
