Mayor Rivera to extend GCQ in GenSan until Oct. 15


General Santos City Mayor Ronnel C. Rivera will extend the general community quarantine (GCQ) classification in the city amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The city government said Sunday, September 27, that GCQ will remain up to October 15 or until further notice.

Rivera will issue the executive order for the GCQ extension, it said.

As of September 26, GenSan has reported 319 confirmed Covid-19 cases with 149 recoveries and 12 deaths.
