Mayor Rivera reminds public to follow health protocols after gov’t allows back-riding

General Santos City Mayor Ronnel C. Rivera has welcomed the decision of the national government to allow motorcycle back-riding.

“I’m happy at pinayagan na ni DILG (Department of Interior and Local Government) Secretary (Eduardo) Año ang back-riding sa mga couples ug common-law partners or live in,” the mayor said.

But he reminded the residents in the city to still observe the minimum health protocols like hand hygiene, wearing of mask and social or physical distancing.

Rivera urged the public to cooperate so that there will be no increase in the number of Covid-19 cases and to maintain the “low risk category” of Gensan.
