The Tagum City Covid-19 Task Force headed by Mayor Allan Rellon has approved the reopening of a public library in the city.
The “Most Innovative Public Library of the Philippines” will accept visitors starting Monday, September 13, from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., the local government said.
The Library Management advised the public to follow the minimum public health standards such as mandatory wearing of face mask and face shield; regular handwashing/disinfection using water, soap and/or alcohol; social distancing of at least two meters between individuals; and maximum occupancy of 30 percent. Only 18 years old up to 64 years old will be allowed inside the library.
“Kindly bring any identification card to be admitted inside the City Library. We also remind patrons that food and drinks are not allowed inside the facility. And most importantly, entrance in the Library is certainly free,” the management said.
