Mayor Ogena hails construction of P35M CHO building

Koronadal City Mayor Eliordo U. Ogena has expressed gratitude to the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) for the infrastructure projects in the city, including the P35-million three-storey building of the City Health Office (CHO).

The groundbreaking ceremony for the building was held Wednesday, November 18.

Once completed, the facility will provide services, such as the prenatal care, outpatient department, dental and lying-in clinic, pharmacy, immunization, TB DOTS, and laboratory services for sputum examination, HIV, syphilis, and Hepatitis B tests.

Ogena said the city government is also looking for fund for the establishment of a molecular laboratory in the same CHO building.
