Mayor Jennie Uy urges police force: Earn the public’s trust

The Politiko placed utmost emphasis on earning the trust of the communities while serving the people.

Villanueva Mayor Jennie Rosalie T. Uy recently urged the local police force to strengthen trust and bond among stake holders during the 23rd Police Community Relations Month kick off ceremonies. During her speech, Mayor Jennie said that plans and goals are of no use if the people do not trust the men in uniform.

“No matter how advanced our equipment and strategies may be, no matter how grand our plans are, no matter how competent we are, but if we do not have the trust of our public, we are ineffective in our jobs, and we will not be able to achieve our goals. Greater than any accomplishment is to earn the trust of the people we are serving”, she told her audience.

The event was governed by the theme “Tapat na Serbisyo at Paglilingkod ng Kapulisan Kaagapay ang Mamamayan, Hatid ay Kaunlaran”. Mayor Jenne also received a Token of Appreciation for her speech during the event.
