Mayor Huervas lifts temporary closure of CHO establishment after thorough decontamination

Valencia City Mayor Azucena P. Huervas ordered Monday, October 12, the reopening of the City Health Office (CHO) Maternity Care and TB DOTS Center after its extensive decontamination.

“The Health Cluster of the Emergency Operations and Command Center (EOCC) has recommended the lifting of the closure order since the area has been extensively decontaminated and is now safe to reopen to the public,” the mayor said in Executive Order No. 88.

Huervas earlier directed the 72-hour closure of the CHO’s establishment in New Terminal, Hagkol, Poblacion after a case of coronavirus disease was reported.
