Mayor Hataman leads National Food Month end celebration with Iftar in Isabela City

Isabela City Mayor Sitti Djalia A. Turabin-Hataman, as well as her husband Deputy Speaker Mujov Hataman, has led the culmination of the celebration of the National Food Month.
The couple, along with the City Councilors and Barangay chairpersons, had an Iftar featuring a showcase of Moro and Island Cuisine Fiesta.
Iftar is the evening meal with which Muslims end their daily Ramadan fast at sunset.
During the event, the local government said the James Walter Strong Boulevard was filled with sumptuous food, painted behind a backdrop landscape of sunset, pristine waters, and the dancing sakayans.
“We continuously join our Muslim Sisters and Brothers in the observance of the Holy Month of Ramadan,” the provincial government said.
