Bislig City Mayor Florencio C. Garay has issued an amended executive order allowing restaurants and carenderia to cater dine-in services.
EO No. 45-A, series of 2021, which takes effect Friday, September 24, also provides that seating capacity for all transportation, whether public or private, shall be limited to 50 percent.
Only one person is allowed to dine on every table while for long tables, the space should be divided into parts, to provide a vacant space of at least one meter from one customer to another with cellophane partition.
The customers are only allowed to remove their face mask and face shield when eating or drinking.
“Customers who see restaurants or carenderia that failed to observe these protocols are encouraged to take pictures of the dining area and report the same to the IMT (Incident Management Team) of Bislig city,” Garay said.
In the same EO, the mayor said tricycles and umbaks are allowed to a maximum of two passengers only.
Violators shall be penalized in accordance with existing laws and city ordinances, the EO said.
