Mayor Flores expects steady supply of vaccines in Malaybalay City

The Malaybalay City government has kicked off the vaccination for the so-called “Rest of Adult Population (ROAP).”

Mayor Florencio “Doc Boy” T. Flores Jr. said the local government expects a steady increase of total number of vaccines deployed “since we hit more than 80,000 doses administered as of October 15, 2021.”

Despite the long queues at Enhanced Screening Area (ESA), he thanked the public for getting inoculated in order to be protected from the coronavirus disease.

Meanwhile, the City Health Office (CHO) said the first rollout of ROAP vaccination runs from October 18 to 22 using Moderna vaccines.

But despite ROAP vaccination, CHO said that sectors consist of A1 to A5 remain a priority in receiving the jabs such as frontliners, senior citizens, persons with comorbidities, workers in essential sectors and indigenous people.
