Mayor Evangelista vows over 11K senior citizens in Kidapawan City to get anti-Covid-19 vaccine


Kidapawan City Mayor Joseph Evangelista has assured other senior citizens who were not included in the first batch of those who received the vaccine against coronavirus disease, will also get their jab.

The local chief executive said that those senior citizens will be among the 40,000 Kidapawenyos who are targeted to be inoculated by third quarter of this year.

Citing the data from the City Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (CESU), there are 11,599 senior citizens who must be vaccinated.

There were 160 senior citizens who were listed to receive their jab Thursday, April 22.

As part of the vaccination roll out plan, the senior citizens from Barangays Poblacion and Sudapin who were inoculated were fetched from their homes and brought to vaccination hub. #
