Mayor Evangelista observes ‘mock’ in-person class at Kidapawan City NHS

Kidapawan City Mayor Joseph A. Evangelista has witnessed the “mock” face-to-face class held at Kidapawan City National High School (KCNHS), the largest public high school in the city.

The activity, which was conducted Friday, December 3, was in preparation for the in-person classes that will start on December 6.

Some 300 students from Grade 12 Technical Vocational Livelihood Strand (TVL) and Science and Technology Engineering and Mathematics Strand (STEM) will participate in the face-to-face classes. There will be 16 students per classroom.

KCNHS management has assured that it will implement the minimum health protocols after complying with all the requirements of the Department of Education (DepEd) and Department of Health (DOH) for the holding of in-person classes.

The requirements include the installation of washing area, thermal scanner and sanitizers, and isolation rooms in case there are teachers or students who will manifest Covid-19 symptoms.
