The Kidapawan City government has reopened the “Pasalubong Center” as the city aims to reopen the local economy to new normal amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The food and arts and craft sector thanked Mayor Joseph Evangelista for allowing them to sell again their products to the tourists in the city.
“Salamat kay Mayor Evangelista dahil mabibigyang kabuhayan ang marami sa aming miyembro ng food, arts and crafts sector ngayon,” said Sheila Leong, president of the group.
The Pasalubong Center was closed temporarily at the City Overland Terminal due to the damage it incurred in an earthquake in October 2019 and the Covid-19 pandemic.
The products being sold in the Pasalubong Center include kakanin, sweets and pastries, natural fruit beverages, brewed coffee, handicrafts, native bags, and accessories, all products produced in Kidapawan.
