Zamboanga City Mayor Beng Climaco has led the turnover of a training center to Western Mindanao State University (WMSU).
The project is funded by the city government as part of its priority thrust on education.
“The 3-storey multi-purpose building will be used as a training center on the first floor and as a dormitory for WMSU students on the second and third floors,” said the local government.
The project started during the time of the former administration and was assumed by the Climaco administration in 2018.
It was undertaken by the ASAP Gen. Trading Construction and Maintenance under the supervision of the City Engineer’s Office.
WMSU President Dr. Milabel Ho and other university officials, teachers and students were present during the turnover ceremony held Monday, February 24.
