Mayor Climaco hopes newly opened isolation facility to serve in Covid-19 patients’ recovery


The Zamboanga City government has stepped up preparations for Covid-19 response as it unveiled Wednesday, January 12, a Mega Isolation Facility.

Mayor Beng Climaco led the unveiling ceremony of the 320-bed capacity facility located in Barangay Talisayan.

She expressed hope that the center will serve in healing and recovery of Covid-19 cases vis-a-vis the city’s mission to protect and keep residents safe from the virus.

The Mega Isolation Facility is a container van type equipped with its own generator set. Each room has a comfort room and aircon unit.

As soon as the facility was opened, 11 Covid-19 cases have been admitted in the establishment.
