The Mati City government is donating P800,000 to three towns in Siargao Island and Dinagat Islands, which were devastated by Typhoon “Odette.”
City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) head Charlemagne Bagasol has led the team in traveling to Burgos town in Siargao Island and Loreto and Libjo in Dinagat Islands.
The Mati CDRRMO team would hand over the P300,000 cash donation to Libjo and Loreto towns and P200,000 to Burgos.
Aside from cash donation, the local government would also donate DRRM supplies to the three municipalities.
Bangsol said that they would be traveling for about six days before reaching the Caraga towns.
