The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) has congratulated Mati City for passing the 2021 Good Financial Housekeeping (GFH).
To pass the GFH, the DILG said the criteria include audit opinion of the Commission on Audit (COA) is “unqualified or qualified” for Calendar Years (CYs) 2019 or 2020.
Also, the local government should comply with the Fully Disclosure Policy (FDP), which means posting all financial documents in three conspicuous places and in the FDP Porta for CY 2020 all quarters and CY 2021 first quarter posting period documents.
The DILG noted that all LGUs in Davao Oriental, including Mati City, are GFH passers.
“In Davao Region, 83% of LGUs passed the GFH, which is higher than the national average of 76%,” it said.
