A magnitude 6.3 earthquake jolted parts of Mindanao Wednesday night.
According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), the tremor occurred at 7:37 p.m. 23 kilometers southwest of Makilala in North Cotabato and with a depth of 2 kilometers.
Intensity VII was felt in Tulunan, North Cotabato, M’Lang, North Cotabato, Kidapawan City; Intensity VI in Tacurong City; Intensity V in Kalamansig, Lebak and Palimbang, Sultan Kudarat; Pikit and Pres. Roxas, North Cotabato; Intensity IV in Cotabato City; Sultan Kudarat, Matanog and Barira, Maguindanao; and Intensity I in Zamboanga City.
Instrumental intensities were also experienced in other areas.

Intensity V – Tupi and Polomolok, South Cotabato; Alabel, Sarangani
Intensity IV – Kiamba, Sarangani; T’Boli, South Cotabato; General Santos City
Intensity III – Cagayan de Oro City; Gingoog City, Misamis Oriental;
Intensity II – Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental
Intensity I – Dipolog City; Bislig City
