Cotabato Gov. Emmylou “Lala” Taliño-Mendoza has led the distribution of financial assistance to 436 senior high school students under the Senior High School Assistance Program Education (SHAPE).
The beneficiaries are students enrolled in technical, vocational and livelihood strand from the municipalities of Makilala and Tulunan.
Mendoza underscored the importance of education and the continuing effort of the provincial government in ensuring that children and youth in the province have equal access to quality education.
She also said that the provincial government is ready to provide financial assistance to Cotabateños who are interested and qualified to work abroad.
The senior high school students who received cash aid came from Ricardo Ipong High School, Kisante National High School, Onofre Campo High School, Malasila National High School, Bulakanon High School, Banayal High School, Minapan High School, Tulunan National High School.
