The Kidapawan City Task Force Covid-19 is likely to lift on Monday, June 29, the “focused containment status” or partial lockdown imposed in part of Barangay Sudapin.
This was after the negative swab test results of all primary close contacts of an 84-year old individual who was recently confirmed positive for coronavirus.
The city government said the results eliminated any risk of possible local transmission.
With this, the Health Cluster of the Local Task Force Covid-19 has recommended the lifting of the focused containment status over the concerned portion of Sudapin.
“The Local Task Force Covid-19, through its Chairperson, will act on recommendation first thing on Monday, 29 June 2020,” the city government said.
However, it reminded the public not to be complacent and to always wear their face masks when going outside, observe the one-meter physical distancing from others, and regularly disinfect their hands.
