The city government of Kidapawan has given recognition to outstanding cooperatives for their contribution in improving the local economy.
Mayor Joseph Evangelista, in a message read by his son City Legal Officer Atty. Jose Paolo Evangelista during the culmination program of the Cooperative Month recently, vowed continuous assistance for them through technical assistance and livelihood programs.
The awardees were selected based on non-financial and financial components, such as providing the members with education and training; giving them the right benefits and dividends; and transparency, among others.
The winners received plaque of recognition and cash prices during the program held on October 23 at the city gymnasium.
