The Kidapawan City Schools Division of the Department of Education (DepEd) has recorded almost 100 percent enrollment rate in all the public schools in the city.
The local government said the 99.73 percent enrollment rate was contained in the report submitted by DepEd to Mayor Joseph Evangelista.
“Mula sa 38,534 na mga mag-aaral na naka enroll sa walumpo at apat na mga public elementary at high schools sa Kidapawqn City noong SY. 2019-2020, nasa 38,431 ang bilang nito para sa kasalukuyang academic year,” it said.
The DepEd will conduct blended learning while the city government implements the quarantine protocols against coronavirus disease.
The city government has also allotted over P15 million as Parents Teachers Association (PTA) subsidy in public schools for school year 2020-2021.
“Php 400 kada bata na naka enroll mula sa Kindergarten hanggang Grade 12 ang sakop ng PTA Subsidy. Dito na kukunin ang pondo para sa mga development projects, learning devices at iba pang proyekto sa mga pampublikong eskwelahan,” it added.
