Kidapawan City earmarks P48M for employees’ Christmas bonuses


The Kidapawan City government has allotted P48 million for the Christmas bonuses of its employees down to the barangay level.

Mayor Joseph Evangelista said regular and casual employees of the city hall will receive P40,000 each, which includes P5,000 Performance Based Bonus (PBB), P25,000 Collective Negotiations Agreement (CNA) incentive, and P10,000 Special Recognition Incentive (SRI).

Each job order employees will get P8,000 cash and P2,000 worth of gift check while the contract of service employees will receive P10,000 each.

Public school teachers, barangay officials, tanods, policemen, members of the Bureau of Fire Protection, barangay workers and employees of the national line agencies who are partners of the city government on its programs will also receive Christmas incentives.

According to the city government, this was Evangelista’s way of thanking all the local government employees for their good performance this year.

It noted that the City Treasurer’s Office has already surpassed its tax collection target as early as October.

“Inaasahang maibibigay na ang mga Christmas bonus ng mga opisyal at kawani ng City Government ngayong linggo,” it said.
