Maguindanao 2nd District Rep. Zajid Mangudadatu said he does not belong to a political dynasty.
This was despite having his brother Esmael Mangudadatu as the governor of Maguindanao.
“I am elected by the people appropriate na elected mga tao dun sa Maguindanao province. So I’m not a member of the political dynasty,” said Mangudadatu, who has filed his certificate of candidacy for Senator before the Commission on Elections (Coemelec), in an interview at ANC on Tuesday.
He said he is against the proposed anti-dynasty law.
“So ako I’m not in favor of ‘yung sinasabi nilang anti-political dynasty law depende na po iyan,” Mangudadatu said.
