The Kidapawan City government urged Monday, May 11, the public to take precaution against rabies from animal bites.

The City Health Office (CHO) made the call after it recorded 230 cases of dog bites last April during the enhanced community quarantine.

The CHO said that most of the cases involved children, who usually played with their pet dogs.
