Gov. Tan tells soldiers in Sulu: Marami kayong nagawa


Sulu Governor Abdusakur M. Tan has hailed the military in helping the local government in maintaining peace and order in the province.

This as Tan joined Maj. Gen. Corleto Vinluan, outgoing commander of the military’s 11th Infantry Division, in unveiling of the building marker of new administration building and personnel barracks of the 15th Civil Military Operations (CMO) at Kuta Heneral Teodulfo Bautista in Barangay Busbus, Jolo Friday, August 8.

“Marami kayong nagawa at mas malapit ngayon ang tao sa ating mga sundalo,” he said during the event.

He added that the CMO “must be at the forefront in the campaign against terrorism.”

Tan was the benefactor of the newly-inaugurated buildings.

The governor also congratulated Vinluan to his new post as Western Mindanao Command chief.
