Sulu Governor Abdusakur M. Tan has led the turnover of four patrol vehicles, face masks, and bottles of alcohol to Sulu Provincial Police Office (PPO).
During the ceremonial turnover held Monday, September 13, Tan cited the low cases of coronavirus disease in the province.
“Historic , we are one of the best, if not the best, in the mitigation of Covid, 12 active cases lang meron tayo,” he said.
“Ang mga tao ngayon ay laging namamasyal at nagpupunta sa iba’t ibang lugar dito sa Sulu, law and order, peace and order ‘yan ang nakikita ngayon.”
Tan urged the policemen to continue with their efficiency and professionalism.
“Sa ating Kapulisan, sana ipagpatuloy niyo ang efficiency at professionalism na ipinakikita niyo at gawin pa nating mas mabuti at maayos ang ating trabaho para lalong gumanda pa at mapayapa ang ating probinsiya. Suportado namin ang Kapulisan,” said the governor, who was joined by Vice Governor Toto Tan, during the event.
Police Colonel Jaime C. Mojica Jr., Officer-in-charge of the Sulu PPO, thanked the provincial government for its donations.
