South Cotabato Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. has assured financial assistance for the 19 former rebels who surrendered in the province.
This as the governor also encouraged other rebels to abandon their armed struggle and return to the folds of law to avail the government’s Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP).
The rebel returnees came from municipalities of Banga, Lake Sebu, Surallah, Tampakan, Polomolok, T’boli and Senator Ninoy Aquino, Sultan Kudarat.
The rebel returnees will receive various assistance, such as remuneration for the surrendered firearms; reintegration assistance; immediate and livelihood assistance of P65,000; financial assistance of P15,000; can avail loans; and assistance from the national line agencies. #
