Basilan Governor Jim Hataman Salliman, along with the other local government officials, turned over Tuesday, November 24, a two-storey six classroom building with window grills to a school in Lamitan City.
The building was given to Damaso C. Furigay Jr. Memorial National High School in Barangay Calugusan.
“The ribbon cutting ceremony is a tangible manifestation that said structure is another landmark in Basilan,”” said Salliman.
Also present in the event were Lamitan City Vice Mayor Oric Furigay and school officials. #
