The Politiko wants nothing but more resilient seas in the province.

Gov. Kaka Bag-ao recently met with the Center for the Development of Indigenous Science and Technology (SIKAT), Inc.including Program Manager Wendie Goña and Community Organizer Carmela Oquina, to discuss their initiative on coastal resiliency on the small islands and this includes the province of Dinagat Islands.

Program Manager Goña revealed the projects offered by SIKAT, Inc. which include initiatives of welfare of fishermen. Currently, there are three (3) municipalities recognized by SIKAT, Inc. such as Dinagat, Cagdianao, and Tubajon for the start of their project based on the feasibility study they conducted last year where four (4) barangays per town will benefit from it.
