Gov. Kaka Bag-ao commemorates 77th year of Battle of Surigao Strait


The Governor offered wreaths of white flower.

Dinagat Governor Kaka Bag-ao led the province’ commemoration activities, together with special guests, H.E. Steven J. Robinson, A.O., Chairperson of the Battle of Surigao Strait Memorial Council; Australian Ambassador to the Philippines; Mr. Jake Miranda, and Commodore Carlos V. Sabarre, PN, Commander of Philippine Naval Forces in Eastern Mindanao.

The Politiko and Australian Ambassador Steven J. Robinson offered flowers in honor of the fallen at the site of the Battle of Surigao Strait in Libjo.

She then emphasized the need to look at the past to set sights towards the future ahead.
