Davao del Norte Governor Edwin Jubahib has placed the entire province under general community quarantine (GCQ) until June 30.
Executive Order No. 26 provides for the policies and guidelines while the province is under GCQ starting Thursday, June 10.
Jubahib said the declaration of GCQ in the province from modified GCQ aims “to mitigate the worsening Covid-19 scenario in the province.”
While the province is under GCQ, he said wearing of face shield and face mask is required in all public places.
All forms of gatherings are prohibited, except when they are permitted by the City/Municipal Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) through the barangay captain concerned where the gathering shall be held. Such gathering is allowed up to 30 percent only of the seating or venue capacity.
Gatherings at residences with any person outside of one’s immediate household shall be prohibited.
Wakes for the dead shall be allowed for a maximum of five days only and shall be exclusive for immediate family only.
Curfew hours from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. is strictly implemented. Exempted from the curfew hours are members of the Covid-19 Crisis Management and Response Team, emergency vehicles, health workers, and those who are required to work within curfew period.
