Davao del Norte Governor Edwin L. Jubahib has issued and executive order extending the modified general community quarantine (MGCQ) in the entire province until the end of the year.
Under EO No. 66, series of 2020, issued Monday, November 30, the governor said with the minimal progress attained by the intensification of the MGCQ in the province, “there is a need to extend the effectivity period of the MGCQ.”
“The effectivity period of the intensified MGCQ in the entire Davao del Norte Province is hereby extended until 31 December 2020, unless revoked or amended,” he said.
While under MGCQ, he said the government, corporate, and private events are allowed provided that attendees shall be limited to 50 percent of the venue capacity, but not to exceed 100 attendees.
“Attendees are required to observe social social/physical distancing and to wear face mask and face shield. Only authorized persons outside of residence (APORs) are allowed to attend,” Jubahib said.
He also said that permission from the local government unit where the event or gathering will be held shall be secured first.
