Gov. Jayvee Uy flaunts Davao de Oro made PPEs

It’s locally made by women tailors, and comes in customized designs too!

This health pandemic is truly the time to be creative in sending out help to the frontliners. Davao de Oro, for instance, came up with a cool set of protective gears locally made by tailors. The cool masks also come in customized design. Governor Jayvee Tyron L. Uy shared some photos of the silverized taffeta Personal Protective Gear which will be distributed for the checkpoint frontliners.

“They will be hitting 3 birds using one stone. 1.) it will help the micro and small women entrepreneurs in the production of these items 2.) the product ( PPES and Facemasks) will be used for our frontliners of Covid 19 3.) promotion of locally made suits and crafts.. SALAMAT HUROT sa inyong tanan! Ginoo na lang mubalos sa inyong maayong intention. Too many to mention. You know who you are”, he wrote on his page.

He also thanked the Department of Education for teaching the locals in producing the PPEs.
