The city government of General Santos has released a revised handbook to inform and guide its employees of the amendments of policies and other rules and regulations regarding their employment, officials said.
Human Resource (HR) Development Council chairman Engr.
HR Management Development Office Department Head Leah Y. Tolimao said the new handbook was not made to frighten government employees.
“This is not done para matakot sila but para maisabuhay nila ng maayos ang kanilang pag tratrabaho dito sa LGU, ” she said.
Chrisamor Clarisa member of HR Development Council also said the handbook was only revised and added with provisions on grievance machinery, knowing one’s career, scholarship, study leave and training.
Each regular city employee will receive a copy of the handbook.
